Your footage stays yours. eclip reads your camera roll on your phone, cuts one short video a day, and hands it to you. You decide whether to post it. We claim no ownership of anything you shoot, and we never post anything on your behalf.
By installing or using eclip you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
eclip requires an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) and access to your photo library. Both are checked when you connect. Without them the app cannot do its job.
You keep every right you already have in your photos and videos. You grant us nothing beyond what the app needs to run on your device. Your clips are analysed and cut on your phone, and the finished video is written to your phone. Text descriptions of your footage are sent to our servers to plan the cut, as described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for what is in your camera roll and for what you post. By using eclip you confirm that you have the rights to the footage it cuts, including the rights of anyone appearing in it, and that publishing the result will not break the law or Instagram's own terms.
eclip is a creative tool, not a marketing guarantee. We do not promise views, reach, followers, engagement, or income of any kind. The daily video is produced automatically and its quality varies with the footage available. Some days the app may produce no video at all, by design, when nothing in your recent footage makes a cut worth posting.
Suggestions the app makes about audio, captions, or formats are suggestions. Confirming that a track is cleared for your account, and that a post follows the rules of the platform you post to, is your call.
Do not use eclip to produce or publish content that is illegal, that harasses or endangers anyone, that sexualises minors, that impersonates another person, or that infringes someone else's copyright. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or automate the service outside the app.
eclip is provided as is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
You can stop at any time. In the app, tap the account icon, then "Disconnect and delete my data". That erases your access token, profile record, reel plans, and lessons from our servers. Videos already on your phone stay on your phone. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarcusBR Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of eclip, including lost reach, lost revenue, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
eclip is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules.
